"Allumatud kehad" on genealoogiline uurimus radikaalsetest kunstilistest, postkunstilistest ja transkunstilistest performatiivsetest praktikatest nende formaatide, strateegiate ja taktikate teisenemise kaudu. Käsitletava ainese kattuvus performance'i-kunsti ja selle ajalooga on küll suur, kuid siiski mitte täielik. Küsimus, mille autor seda uurimust kavandama asudes püstitas, oli õigupoolest maru lihtne: "Kui senised käsitlused performance'i ajaloost ei rahulda, siis milline oleks mõeldav alternatiivne narratiiv, mis oleks nende praktikate sisemise loogika ja kujunemisega paremas vastavuses?" Ainus motiiv, mis näis autori arvates olevat kõigil neil erinevatest aegadest pärit ja erinevatel ajenditel toime pandud performatiivsetel tegudel ühine, on allumatuse motiiv: aktsionistid mässavad, rikuvad reegleid sõltumata sellest, kas neile allumatuse aktidele järgneb (võimude) repressioone või mitte. Need on praktikad, mis on kohal, sekkuvad, häirivad, nihestavad, aga on vahel ka mängulised, meelelahutuslikud ja seksualiseeritud. Tegemist on uurimusega, mis pakub teistlaadse viisi vaadelda performatiivsete praktikate ajalugu ja loob alternatiivse üldkäsitluse mudeli. Anders Härm (s. 1977) on kunstiteadlane ja kuraator. 2000. aastal lõpetas ta Eesti Kunstiakadeemia kunstiteaduse eriala ning 2023. aastal kaitses samas doktorikraadi. 2002.-2012. aastani töötas ta Tallinna Kunstihoone kuraatorina ning aastatel 2010-2015 Eesti Kaasaegse Kunsti Muuseumi juhina. Ta on kureerinud näitusi nii Eestis kui ka mujal Euroopas (Saksamaal, Norras, Soomes), muuhulgas ka Eesti paviljoni nii Veneetsia arhitektuuribiennaalil (2000) kui ka kunstibiennaalil (2003). Alates 2017. aastast on ta EKA kunstiteaduse ja visuaalkultuuri Instituudi lektor, kunstiteaduse eriala magistriõppe kuraatori õppesuuna juht ning alates 2023. aastast Kumu kunstimuuseumi kuraator. 9789916619902.
