Privately published by Robert Violette in a boxed edition of 60 signed and numbered copies (of which this is number 38). Includes a sheet of text on the artist by Pernilla Holmes. Described as a triptych, this contains three minimal landscape colour photographs by the artist on Kodak branded photopaper, together with a large fold-out print on yellow paper. A very rare publication by Hadrian Pigott, geologist turned artist (a graduate of the Royal College of Art), known for his works involving soaps, basins, and concepts of hygiene. 'Silver Howe' dates from a pivotal moment in Pigott's career when he was relocating from London to set up a studio in Penzance, Cornwall.
