Buch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - This book is based on the proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Vision in Vehicles. The aim of the conference series is to enable international researchers from different disciplines to meet and exchange ideas on the current state-of-the-art of all aspects related to vehicles and vehicle controllers. This is perceived as encompassing the internal and external design of a vehicle, the environment in which vehicles move, as well as the visual, perceptual and cognitive limitations of the vehicle controller. All types of vehicles (including underground mining vehicles, helicopters, trains and motorcycles) are considered, though the majority of papers deal with automobiles and their drivers.

In den WarenkorbIllustrated by Edmund Bogg, Gilbert Foster, Percy Robinson, Albert Haselgrave, Owen Bowen, and others (illustrator). Undated edition, possibly published 1895, with over 200 illustrations by various illustrators. From the prolific writer and Leeds Savage Club founder Edmund Bogg. A keen bohemian, Bogg wrote many books on his walks in the Yorkshire Dales and often took his artist friends into the Yorkshire Dales to paint and write. This title was likely produced in tandem with such a trip, as much of the artwork within was produced by club members. Generously illustrated with monochrome etchings, photogravures, and engravings, with a long list of subscribers at the rear, some of which received the de luxe edition, pp. [viii], 350. Quarter bound in brown leather over brown cloth with black label and gilt lettering to the spine. Quarto 27 x 21.5 cm In very good condition. Rebound with new endpapers, spine sunned, page edges somewhat tanned with a few discreet tape repairs to some small closed tears to the margins of two pages towards the fore, rear pages lightly foxed. Generally very clean and firmly bound.
