Lis' account of her journey with her mother and two younger brothers and gives vivid descriptions of their year spent on Teneriffe. Pages firm, bright, and unmarked. Faint tanning to endpapers. In the original binding of ochre cloth titled and illustrated in green. Square, bright and clean, with some faint soiling around the spine ends. In the protected price-clipped pictorial dust jacket: flaps bright, upper panel fairly bright, spine and lower panel dulled and soiled. The upper panel has a little chipping to the top edge, and has had a half inch strip torn from its foot; the spine is missing its top 1.5 inches, and has a chip at its foot. A good copy of a very scarce title - plus most of its jacket!
