Hence, in addition to its study-friendly structure, this review book comprehensively mirrors most contemporary general surgery curricula. It also encompasses key operative steps of wider general surgery procedures, which most review books lack. Moreover, while most ABSITE review books are written by one or a few authors, each chapter in this book is reviewed/authored by someone with expertise in their specialty. This compiles the experience of many authorities into one resource helping general surgery residents stay up-to-date with the most recent and important concepts in the field.
