100p., wraps. Covers a bit soiled. Pages browned/age-toned. The Indiana born, Seattle-based African American author's meditation on racism in American society.
Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. A very scarce collection by acclaimed poettess J.T. Stewart, a voice for black literature in the northwest and cofounder of Clarion West Writers Workshop, with line drawings by Cliff Hooper, who co-founded the black graphic and print center "Harrison Madrona Center" who are also the publishers of this book. Very scarce, and an uncommon representation of Black Arts movement in the Pacific northwest, usually being focused on the writers from NY, LA, and SF. Overall a well bound and clean copy, with the interior being bright, clean, free of marks. The graphics are striking. The cover has some minor age toning on the front. The spine has some moderate to heavy scuffing but all text is still legible and the binding integrity is strong. Mild bump at bottom left corner not effecting interior at all. Now in brand new mylar protection. 38pgs with numerous illustrations in black and white. A lovely volume.
