Black lettering to spine and design to top board. 93pp. Top edges a little dusty, rest untrimmed but clean. Small red stain to lower page corners. DJ is unclipped and also has red stains, otherwise fair/good. Size: 24mo - over 5 - 5¾" tall. Signed by Author(s). Book.

Hardcover, floral cloth-covered boards, printed label pa…sted to front board, 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches, 29 pp., b/w frontispiece caricature. Inscribed and signed on the title page by Howard Fabing. Fine. 2) The 1961 volume is a revised and enlarged, first thus, limited/numbered edition, hardcover with dustcover, 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches, 99 pp., b/w frontispiece caricature (same as in the 1930 volume). This edition was limited to 300 copies, and this copy is number 18. SIGNED by Martin H. Fischer on the front pastedown, dated 1961. Book and dustcover very near fine. Although this first thus edition is substantially expanded, the first and last aphorisms are the same as in the 1930 edition. (K062). Signed by Author(s).
