Kartoniert, 4°, 71 S., mit zahlreichen Abbildungen sowie mit einer Schallplatte als Beilage; -Einband berieben und etwas fingerfleckig, Schallplatte in tadellosem Zustand. ?Alida Fehring, geboren um 1935 in Cuxhaven, litt wahrscheinlich an Schizophrenie. Sie wurde wohl lebenslang in eine private Heilanstalt in Schleswig-Holstein abgeschoben, angeblich auch deshalb, um ihren manischen Gestaltungsdrang zu unterbinden. Ihre für die Zeit erstaunlich modern anmutenden Bilder galten als ?abartig". Übliche Mal- und Zeichenutensilien wurden ihr vorenthalten. So arbeitete sie heimlich und benutzte jede Art erreichbaren Papiers und Kartons, u.a. bedruckte Notenblätter, deren Charakteristika sie mit großem Geschick in ihre Darstellungen einbezog. Viele ihrer Bilder, auch die nicht auf Notenpapier gefertigten, evozieren beim Betrachter musikalische Vorstellungen. Sie verfasste auch poetisch-schamanistische Texte, die teilweise in die Bilder eingearbeitet sind. Die rund 40 in der weiteren Familie erhaltenen Graphiken Alida Fehrings, von denen 26 vom Schleswig-Holsteinischen Landesmuseum angekauft wurden, sind wohl sämtlich in der Anstalt entstanden" [Heidelberger Jahrbücher, 2002].
