Covers exhibit wear and fraying on corners, spine ends and back cover hinge. Light wear and soiling to edges and front hinge. Moderate soiling and shelf wear to covers. Marbled page ends are lightly faded due to age. Previous owners name on inside front cover and writing in pencil to bfep's and inside back cover. Light yellowing to text with very occasional foxing. Text is otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are weak but still firmly attached. Illustrated with many b&w drawings, diagrams and charts. Steeles Series in the Natural Sciences.
