This work illustrated Louis XV's visit to Strasbourg in 1744 and contained 11 large plates and a pedestrian portrait of Louis XV. It is condidered one of the most beautiful books on festivities and the most beautiful book of Strasbourg.Reference: The plates can be sold individually.Biography engraver: Jacques-Philippe Le Bas (1707-1783) was a French engraver and workshop head, known for reproducing major works and training generations of engravers.Biography artist: Johann/Jean-Martin I Weiss (1711-1751).
