Gebrauchsspuren. Gesamthaft weitestgehend sauberes, recht ordentliches Exemplar - - Gantner p. 44 - Programmalbum mit Beschreibung d…es Festzuges und den darstellenden Zünften nach Szenen (z.B. Constaffel u. Saffran: Hadlaub; Hottingen: Das Fähnlein der 7 Aufrechten; Kämbel: Die Hochzeit des Mönchs; Waag und Zimmerleuten: Jürg Jenatsch) - Die nach den beiden bedeutendsten Schweizer Schriftstellern des 19. Jahrhunderts gegliederten Umzugsabteilungen stellten Szenen aus deren Werk nach. Wie meistens bei solchen (historisierenden) Anlässen ist in der Tradition des Historismus eine starke Tendenz zur martialischen Interpretation feststellbar. Pferde, Ritter, Edelleute, Waffen, Rüstungen, Fahnen und Banner, sowie pittoreske kriegerische Trachten waren beliebte und dankbare Requisiten; sie machten denn auch wo immer möglich einen gewichtigen Anteil dieses Festzuges aus. Daneben erscheinen einige schweizergeschichtliche, bürgerliche und bäurische Gruppen, immer Aspekte aus den Werken Kellers und Meyers darstellend (z.B. Der grüne Heinrich, Leute von Seldwyla, Martin Salander, Züricher Novellen, bzw. Die Richterin, Der Heilige, Angela Borgia, Der Schuss von der Kanzel) - Die Illustrationen des weitgehend unbekannten Dekorationsmalers, Zeichners und Entwerfers von Scheibenrissen und Kostümen Jakob Karl Hardmeier od. Hardmeyer (Stäfa 1856-1934 Genua; s. BLSK) sind in relativ kräftigen Farben gedruckt und erinnern stilistisch etwas an zeittypische Schulbuch- oder Kinder- und Jugendbuch-Illustrationen (Hardmeyer war im Brotberuf Zeichenlehrer).
