Within this book, you will find an exploration of the two commandments that hang all other laws and prophets, as well as a list of contents. The author, in no uncertain terms, states that murder and theft are violations of these two primary commandments. He further defines the types of theft and murder, suggesting that many are performed in a slow, calculated fashion, not just through violent means. The author argues that revenge is forbidden and that God is above reproach. There are no blackguards or profane swearers in heaven, only those who have accepted God's love. The author states that all are on the way to heaven under God's care. He states that one should avoid giving offense to another, that God is a spirit, and that sobriety and perfection are required. This book is heavily focused on living a life of forgiveness. The author argues prayer should be sincere, and that it is permissible to fast if done with a cheerful countenance. He also suggests that covetousness and a love of money are detrimental to the soul. The author warns that those who lay up treasures on Earth will not be rich towards God.
