Book itself has previous owner name and purchase date discreetly written at top left inside front cover (obscured from view by inner dw panel), else is As New: Tight binding (NO creases); sharp corners (NO bumps or curls; NO rubbing wear (dustwrapper did its job); NO remainder marks. Octavo softcover (VG); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Ordering more than one book may reduce your overall postage costs.

Hardcover. 64, 207p., trace of toning, minor creasing, a few closed tears in pages repaired otherwise in good condition. All issues published from February 1940 to December 1941. Statement inside February issue notes that, there was no January issue in 1940 due to a fire in the building. NOTE: In April of 1940, Max Shachtman and James Burnham and about 1/3 of the Socialist Workers Party split from the party. In doing so they siezed the mailing lists for New International and it became a review of the newly formed Workers Party.The SWP went on to publish "Fourth International" it's new magazine starting with the April issue.…
