Des groupes de porcelets plus jeunes, vaccinés à 3, 7 et 14 jours, ont montré une réponse mesurable, la dépendance à l'âge correspondait à la maturation des organes et cellules immunitaires. Le développement de l'immunité a fait l'objet de recherches plus approfondies chez les porcelets ayant des anticorps dérivés du colostrum par rapport aux porcelets sans anticorps dérivés du colostrum. Les porcelets vaccinés par ID après le sevrage ont également présenté des résultats tout à fait comparables à l'administration d'IM. An ability of piglets develops immunity in early postnatal age was studied at 3, 7, 14 and 28 days. The intensity of the humoral response was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and the cellular immunity by lymphocyte proliferation test. The full immune-competence of piglet at the age of 28 days was confirmed, both humoral and cellular. Full immune-competence was confirmed in piglets aged 28 days. Groups of younger piglets, vaccinated at 3, 7 and 14 days, showed a measurable response, agedependency was corresponding with the maturation of the immune organs and cells. Immunity development was researched further in piglets with colostrum-derived antibodies compared with piglets without colostrum-derived antibodies. Piglets vaccinated ID after weaning also exhibited fully comparable results to IM administration. The serology results were confirmed through challenge infection of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae. Results of the trial confirmed that ID vaccination provoked the same, or even stronger, protection in comparison to IM vaccinated animals.
