The authors real name was Dorothy Tait, she better known by her pen name, Ann Fairbairn. While living in New Orleans, Tait managed the American and international tours of jazz clarinetist George Lewis's band for more than a decade. /// This is the 1st edition hardback with its dustjacket in good condition-the dustjacket is a creased & rubbed. (286 pages).
