In questo libro - che raccoglie quasi tutte le interviste rilasciate da Jeff nella sua breve vita - il musicista si svela senza filtri né censure fra paure, insicurezze, la carriera in ascesa, il difficile rapporto discografico con la Columbia e i tanti dubbi mentre in sala d'incisione sta registrando il monumentale "Grace". E poi il successo, la stanchezza per i lunghi tour, il difficile rapporto con le droghe, il fantasma del padre Tim sempre presente.
