Al margine inferiore delle prime 45 carte del primo tomo sono presenti solchi di tarlo, in parte coperti da vecchi restauri, con piccole perdite di testo. The binding is discoloured and worn but structurally sound with a faded morocco label to the spine. Bookplate of St Stephen's House, Oxford to the front pastedown and ownership signature of 'N.P. Williams June 30, 1928' written below. The book begins with the title page with large inset etched vignette, but lacks A1 that precedes it, presumed to be the half title. The text is clean and concludes with the Privilege page which is dated 1641, but has an old water stain along the gutter for the final part of the book.
