Zustand: Good. - A 9-1/2 inch high by 6-1/2 inch wide broadside song sheet with the lyrics of the minstrel song "The Gal in Blue!" centered beneath the bold title within a formal decorated frame. The lyrics of the three stanzas and chorus, written in dialect, begin "I met a pretty yaller gall, her name I do not know, / I meet her every evening, no matter where I go, / She swings de fancy handkerchief that sparkes like the dew, / You'd know her if you seen her, she's always dressed in blue." To which the chorus responds "She'll set dis darkey crazy, I don't know what to do, / If I can't get dat pretty gal dat I saw dressed in blue. / She'll set dis darkey crazy, I don't know what to do, / If I don't get dat pretty gal dat I saw dressed in blue."
