Wäh rend die Zusammenarbeit innerhalb dieser Verbundsysteme lange Zeit reibungslos verlaufen ist, hat die neuere Entwicklung zwischen den Mitgliedsinstituten beider Sys terne zu Konflikten geführt, die vor allem die Koope ration der unteren und der mittleren Ebene und damit den Kern der verbundwirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit betreffen und die Stabilität der Systeme gefährden. Es handelt sich somit um einen interessanten und aktuellen Problemkreis , der um so mehr an Bedeutung gewinnen dürfte, je mehr Institute der unteren Ebene durch ge schäftliches Wachstum oder auch durch Verschmelzung eine Größenordnung erreichen, die ihre Abhängig~eit von den Zentralinstituten mildert und ihnen ein selbständiges Agieren am Markt für Bankleistungen er möglicht. Nach der Erörterung der Arteigenheiten und Prinzipien der verbundwirtschaftlichen Kooperation befaßt sich der Autor mit den Determinanten, die über die Funktions fähigkeit und damit letztlich über den Bestand einer Kooperation entscheiden. Einen geeigneten theoreti schen Ansatz für die Untersuchung des Problems der Stabilität kooperativer Systeme sieht er in der sog. Anreiz-Beitrags-Konzeption, nach der die Stabilität solcher Systeme dann gesichert ist, wenn der Koope rationsprozeß auf Dauer und total den Zielen der Systemelemente entspricht. Wäh rend die Zusammenarbeit innerhalb dieser Verbundsysteme lange Zeit reibungslos verlaufen ist, hat die neuere Entwicklung zwischen den Mitgliedsinstituten beider Sys terne zu Konflikten geführt, die vor allem die Koope ration der unteren und der mittleren Ebene und damit den Kern der verbundwirtschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit betreffen und die Stabilität der Systeme gefährden. Es handelt sich somit um einen interessanten und aktuellen Problemkreis , der um so mehr an Bedeutung gewinnen dürfte, je mehr Institute der unteren Ebene durch ge schäftliches Wachstum oder auch durch Verschmelzung eine Größenordnung erreichen, die ihre Abhängig~eit von den Zentralinstituten mildert und ihnen ein selbständiges Agieren am Markt für Bankleistungen er möglicht. Nach der Erörterung der Arteigenheiten und Prinzipien der verbundwirtschaftlichen Kooperation befaßt sich der Autor mit den Determinanten, die über die Funktions fähigkeit und damit letztlich über den Bestand einer Kooperation entscheiden. Einen geeigneten theoreti schen Ansatz für die Untersuchung des Problems der Stabilität kooperativer Systeme sieht er in der sog. Anreiz-Beitrags-Konzeption, nach der die Stabilität solcher Systeme dann gesichert ist, wenn der Koope rationsprozeß auf Dauer und total den Zielen der Systemelemente entspricht.
