Profusely illustrated with photographs of the Ohio battlefield monuments. Frontispiece portrait of the Union and Confederate commanders. Tipped in Errata Slip at title page verso. Lacks map. Brown cloth with gilt titling and decoration on front with blind stamped decoration and framing. Gilt titing and decoration on spine. Gilt on front is clean and bright, gilt on spine is modestly faded, remains legible. Covers show wear & fraying to corners and at top & tail of spine, with sunning to spine. Front and rear hinges loose. Binding is strong and tight. A few pages loose at front; ends toned; otherwise interior is very well preserved and clean. 199 pp. Approx. 6.5" x 9.5". A nice copy.
