Elle décrit ensuite la technique d urétrostomie périnéale de Wilson et les complications éventuelles qui l accompagnent. La seconde partie est une étude rétrospective qui rapporte les complications survenues après cette opération chez 68 chats opérés entre 2000 et 2005 à l Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort. 53 % ont souffert de complications, 16 % sont morts ou euthanasiés à cause de troubles urinaires et 15 % ont été obstrués de nouveau. Elle décrit ensuite la technique d urétrostomie périnéale de Wilson et les complications éventuelles qui l accompagnent. La seconde partie est une étude rétrospective qui rapporte les complications survenues après cette opération chez 68 chats opérés entre 2000 et 2005 à l Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort. 53 % ont souffert de complications, 16 % sont morts ou euthanasiés à cause de troubles urinaires et 15 % ont été obstrués de nouveau. Au moment de l étude, 78 % des animaux opérés sont exempts de troubles urinaires.
