Si tratta di vedute di città e cittadine della Germania, che l'occhio del navigatore può incontrare navigando le rive del fiume Reno, fra Heildelberg e Koln (Colonia); ciascuna città e cittadina è raffigurata come attraversata o toccata da un tratto di fiume ed è arricchita dalla presenza di castelli, ponti e scorci architettonici, talvolta da figure. Le venti vedute rappresentate sono: Frankfurt a/m, Mainz, Der Dom in Mainz, Coln, Heidelberg, Coblenz, Ems, Stolzenfels, Biebrich, Braubach, Bingen, Rudesheim, Pfalz, Der Lurleifelsen, Lahneck, Godesberg, Rheinstein, Oberwesel, Nonnenwerth, Die Griechische Kapelle.
