Illustrated with 106 hand-colored lithographed plates of birds, with several birds to a plate. The plate volume dates to 1879. Included is an 1852 First Edition (ANKER 256) of the text volume of Kjaerbolling's DANMARKS FUGLE, the original of this work. ANKER 250 and 251. Rather heavy foxing to the text volume, less so to the atlas plate volume which has light foxing to most plates, heavy to a handful, and where the text block is broken in a couple of places. Overall Very Good.
