Green quarter-leather and cloth binding, gilt lettering and decoration to spines A little marking to binding but quite clean and colouring still vivid for cloth Heavy scuffing to leather areas in particular, spines especially, with discolouration also. Rubbing at edges and on hinges Slightly bumped and torn corners Some slackness to bindings, a bit of strain to textblocks, but contents reasonably firm. Page edges speckled red. A little browning, other marking and scuffing to page edges but reasonably clean. A little writing to front pastedowns and endpapers.
