Broschur mit Lagerspuren, durchgehend gering fleckig, insgesamt jedoch gutes Exemplar der seltenen Sammlung von Verträgen (Abschieden) zwischen 1291 und 1420. Mit Ausnahme der Quelle vom 1. August 1291, die in Latein verfasst ist, sind alle Quellen im vergleichsweise gut lesbaren Deutsch der damaligen Zeit auf Schweizer Gebiet gehalten. Joseph Eutych Kopp (1793-1866), Luzerner Grossrat und Verfassungsrat, führte als Historiker die kritische Quellenforschung ein, wobei er sich lediglich historisch belegbarer Quellen, also der Originalurkunden, bediente.
