Studied was the variation of some genotypes of forage peas belonging to different subspecies with the directions of using methods of pick out, sexual hybridization and mutagenesis. Applied was crossing between varieties with alternative traits. It was found that in F2 generation there was great diversity of types and created opportunity for selection of suitable progenies. Perspective lines steady on stress factors were selected. The inheritance of the element of productivity is determined mainly by additive dominant gene effects. The phenotypic diversity of the quantitative traits in F2 is characterized with continual variability and transgression activities. The uses of method on experimental mutagenesis is analyzed the reaction of four forage peas genotypes to radiation influence (gamma rays Cs137). Additional information was obtained about the morphobiological variability of the quantitative signs of this crop, and the possibilities for the identification of the genotype by phenotype according to the ecological-genetic model. A comparative assessment of phenotypic variability, adaptability, and ecological stability was performed. In light of the above, it is necessary to expand the sowing of this crop while identifying the seed yield. All this implies an intensification of scientific research to develop new high-yielding varieties and organize a seed production system. Positive correlations with different values were established between seed productivity and quantitative traits, which implies an opportunity to improve productivity through the studied characteristics. Using different approaches, analyses (regression, variance, non-parametric) and methods (according to Wricke, 1965; Eberhart and Russell, 1966; Shukla, 1972; Tai, 1979; Plaisted and Peterson, 1979; Annicchiarico, 1992; Yan, 2002 and others), the productive potential, ecological stability and adaptive ability of accessions were determined. The allelopathic potential assessment of the genotypes allowed identifying those with pronounced allelopathic tolerance to Sorghum halepense, a major weed in broad bean stands. Based on the complex estimation, a breeding model of broad bean cultivar with an increased productivity was developed. Optimal parameters of the selection model of white lupine are determined, and the possibilities for identification of the genotype by phenotype are considered. Genotypes, which differ in a complex of economic and biological traits and high seed productivity, are selected. Based on the conducted researches, the breeding value of the accessions regarding studied features, their use in the breeding process are determined. A comparative assessment is performed in terms of phenotypic variability, adaptability, and ecological stability.
