This includes the early cartographers, such as Samuel de Champlain, and some of the intrepid Jesuit priests. The history continues into the twentieth century. The appendices contain a list of Deputy and Provincial Land Surveyors. Includes chapter notes, a bibliography, and index. This is a very good copy. The book has one bumped corner, and light marking on the top edge. The jacket has light edge wear, and some colour transfer from the boards.
