Paperback. Zustand: new. Paperback. This is the debut book of Lakshmi Sreenath, a mother and social entrepreneur from Kerala, India. Four main characters and a few others, belonging to different dimensions of time(what the lay-man is this life & after-life). Some belonging to this World and others to another. How they meet for a brief period of time, develop a connect so deep and then depart to phases unknown . Lakshmi has seamlessly put together a novel and poems that confining them to either one of the genres is impossible. Gripping, enticing, magical, mystical and so relevant to this World that we live in. A collection of 17 poems with life-like illustrations and the story line, which point towards love, betrayal, emotions, relations, social issues, philosophy and mysticism. It's a surreal mix of fact and fantasy. It's ethereal and sometimes, seems to be of not this world. There are deep underlying messages and analogies of important life events, which the readers will easily relate to. Each poem flows smoothly, with readable stanzas and sonnets, intertwined with 'imaginary' conversations with Dr.Kalam & Sushant Singh, where they speak about all things under the Sun.There are metaphors, smilies and ironies that bring a smile on your face . If you ponder, you may find yourself in her poems . There is history, epic -rewritten, movie adaptations, a mother's plea, nature's wrath, the mockery of death & funeral and the zen moment, where she gives you the realisation, of whom you actually are. A must read, collectable . The Sparkle-Eyed Photon, The Missile Man and The Mystic Me.Lakshmi Speaks,"TODAY THEY ARE NO MORE, BUT THOSE DAYS THEY WERE WITH ME.About one thing I was absolutely positive, About the presence of spirits that took their form and spend their transit time with me.And I read out aloud to them, From an ode to a MACHO man, About a DEMONESS, who fell in love with the LORD, Of LOVE risen and of LOVE lost, Of love so PURE but still betrayed, Of a HERO of the war and why he ruled my heart, The story of my desolate MOTHERHOOD, And my frantic phase, when FLOODS devoured my land, About FUNERALS and the TRUTH of our sheer existence, And whether our SOULS would meet at the other end."
