Spine is faded, with some soil; cover has some wear; top page edge and foredge soiled; mild soil to endpapers; inner pages clean but tanned at the ends. No date of publication; colophon page indicates that this edition was privately printed by J. Chr. Gunderson of Oslo. Believed to be circa early 1960s. Illustrated throughout with photos and artwork, this book looks at the Norwegian history of exploration from the time of the Vikings up to Thor Heyerdahl's "Kon-Tiki" voyage. 232 pages; approx. 8"x10".
