Lawrence E. Grinter was an Asian Historian and Professor for the U.S. Air Force Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base, and was the editor of American War in Vietnam, among other studies of the Vietnam War. The United States Air Force Air War College is the senior Air Force professional military school. Annually, we prepare about 250 resident and over 5, 000 nonresident senior students from all US military services, federal agencies, and 41 nations to lead in the strategic environment-emphasizing the employment of airpower in joint operations.
