Twelve-page paper on memory and pilot error by a Stamford, Connecticut physician, issued through Tony LeVier's Safe Action in Flight Emergencies, the non-profit the former Lockheed chief test pilot (first flights of the P-80, F-104, and U-2) founded after his 1974 retirement to train civilian pilots in emergency handling; LeVier's foreword says Crane presented him the paper in October 1982.
