Hardcover. Zustand: new. Hardcover. This picture book, specially created for children aged 3 to 8, narrates the heartwarming journey of Mr. Pomelo, a character full of benevolence. 3 8 Mr. Pomelo always loves to wear his golden "fur coat" and carefully arranges his single strand of hair before heading out, carrying with him the moon fruits he made by hand-the flesh sweet and sour, each segment shaped like a tiny moon, beautiful and delicious. From tranquil villages to bustling cities, his footsteps never stop: When he meets a rooster with a dry, sore throat, he offers half a moon fruit to quench its thirst; when he encounters an ox and a sheep who are annoyed with each other due to bad breath, he shares the fruit to freshen their mouths; passing by a river, he hands fruit to a smelly weasel to help eliminate odors; in the park, seeing an overfed pigeon, he uses the fruit to regulate its digestion; even a drunken man on the street receives his last half-segment of fruit to help sober up. Upon reaching the eaves, where he sees a thinly dressed little flower-selling girl coughing incessantly, Mr. Pomelo does not hesitate to take off his "fur coat" "Quickly, wrap yourself in this. You can also use it to brew a medicinal soup that will warm your stomach and relieve phlegmy coughs." The little girl thanks him gratefully, but Mr. Pomelo has disappeared, leaving only a tiny strand of hair behind. This story, full of kindness, not only subtly reveals the medicinal value of pomelo flesh and peel but also plants a seed of love in children's hearts-helping them understand the warmth of giving, learn to treat the world with a benevolent heart, and feel the power of loving and being loved.
