Includes many photos of the library as is, with librarians contending with the cataloging of stacks of recent acquisitions, stacks in the Sheldonian Cellars, students studying, etc., as well as a photo of the architectural model for the expansion. Contributors include considering the Bodleian in from many perspectives include Greene, Powicke, Craster, Gilbert Scott, Julian Huxley, Lindsay, Mitchell, Lindemann, Tizard, et al.
