And no, none of these people were characters in a Harry Potter novel.) Heavy on the desserts, of course (including Sherry Hedgehog, though lamentably no mention of Spotted Dick.) No, we cannot explain the spellings "Bortsch" or "Spinach Roularde." We also reluctantly conclude Mr. George Vine, Master of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, was not pulling Lady Heap's leg when he submitted with a straight face his recipe for "Greek Moussaka a L'Anglaise," entirely lacking bechamel and substituting "young cabbage" for eggplant.
