It contains a short story by Michael Arlen with B&W illustrations by Cecil Beaton and 3 essays on the building of the Dorchester Hotel by Francis Towle (President of the International Hotel Association), C H Reilly (architect), and Malcolm McAlpine (engineer). Includes 6 fold-out colour plates illustrating the interiors of the hotel. Includes adverts for Garrard & Co, Schweppes, Abdullah Cigarettes and the Gaslight & Coke Co.
