"This book emphasises the true function of education, and illustrates, with a wealth of detail, how the ideal is approached by one of the most successful ladies' colleges in Australia, Croydon." Hardback, with dust wrapper. Signed by author on front free endpaper. Blue boards with lettering on the spine. Binding is neat and tidy. Page edges are discoloured, more at the head and fore edge. Some light thumbing. Gently handled. Pastedowns and free endpapers are very lightly thumbed and also bear some discolouration and foxing, so too are many pages throughout. This book is in fair condition. Dust wrapper has some creasing at the edges and general discolouration. Covers have some wear, especially at the corners and edges. Back cover has some markings and discolouration. Spine sunned. and well discoloured. Head and tail of spine thumbed and bearing wear, otherwise this dust wrapper is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better.
