Internally fine and free of inscriptions; very attractively illustrated; unpaginated and with eight songs included. Very scarce item.

The front cover has a pasted on paper colour illustration of favourite Disney characters on board a bus which says "To Disneyland" at the front and "To Lots of Fun" on the side, driven by Mickey Mouse, cloth spine. Inside the end-papers feature vignette pictures of sketches of Bambi, Thumper and birds. Illustrated title page. Many black and white and colour illustrations throughout. The condition is good-very good. The covers are rubbed and worn at the edges, the front hinge is split, the front cover is being held on by the cloth, webbing showing inside. The "This Book Belongs To" on the front end-paper has been filled in, slight crease where lower corner of title page was once folded. The stories inside are: Snow White, Mickey's Little Nephews, Donald's Fishing Adventure and Pinocchio. This is a very rare item. It is a very early item of Disney memorabilia, and contains possibly the earliest reference to "Disneyland" predating the actual opening of the first Disneyland theme park by ten years. Size: 4to - over 9" - 12" tall.

Card book. Zustand: Near Fine. Presumed first and only edition. Tall stapled booklet, 7.2 x 3.9 ins: [10]pp, (4 coloured) in coloured card covers, with transfers laid in. The story, 'Mickey's Painting' - illustrated in line, and a sendup of modern art - runs through the book on the monochrome pages from inside the front cover to inside the back cover. The coloured pages have unrelated bright captioned Mickey images. The transfers, each just over 1" square, and showing Disney characters up to their tricks, are in a sheet of 16 - there may have been more. Light crease through book near base of spine, tiny knocks to corner tips, a little soiling to covers.: altogether a lovely fresh, bright copy.
