Preceeded only by the rare first edition. First edition's cp state "published May 1936" with no additional printings. The third printing's cp would state "publishe…d June 1936" with the added statement "reprinted June 1936". It should be noted that Macmillan's GWTW copyright page never used the word "edition". Book's cover a bit shabby. BE AWARE: spine lettering clearer in pix than in actuality. Spine and edges scuffed but little actual wear. Upper inner hinge cracked at title page (shown in pix) but still sound. Contents otherwise nice. Clean pastedowns. No foxing or marginalia. GOOD book, no DJ. Scuffed edges & extrems, faded lettering.
