Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the history of Belgium's 1898 Law on Professional Unions, which granted legal status to workers' and employers' organizations. The author examines the law's origins, its provisions, and its impact on the development of the labor movement in Belgium. The book also explores the broader context of labor relations in 19th-century Europe and analyzes the ways in which the Belgian law influenced the development of similar legislation in other countries. The author argues that the 1898 law was a groundbreaking piece of legislation that played a significant role in the development of the labor movement and the protection of workers' rights.
