This is the 6th Revised Edition. The text is entirely in old Black Letter German. Professor Browning penciled in some marginal notes and did a bit of underlining. This marginalia is fairly brief, and does not appear often in the book. Kronenberg was a German-Jewish philosopher and cultural historian, known for his studies of German idealism, and his critical essays on ethics and modern philosophy. His work on Kant was esteemed by the academic community. Rather than being tenured, he worked independently as a scholar and public intellectual.
