List of recipients of The Chronicle "as per acknowledgements in November 1941" and excerpts from recipients. List of guests at the Mountain Lake Club for the 1942 Spring Season; and a list of widows there: 1941-42. Former owner's neat signature dated 1980 to front endpapers. Spine and half-inch strip along top of front sunned. Backstrip of spine separated for two inches along rear gutter and 1 inch along front gutter.

Saddle Stapled Card Covers. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. William Inglis Morse (illustrator). First Edition. 25pp. Edition limited to 125 copies, stated on p. 25. Short essays and anecdotes, in this number particularly focused on the Mountain Lake community of Florida including a page on the Seminoles, a list of property owners at Mt. Lake and their respective hobbies, e.g. "golf, cards, cigars and croquet." Illustrated with 21 photos 1.8" square of the region (incl. Boca Raton), numerous local personalities, two horses and a Seminole girl. As well, a 3-page article on dynamite "by a Mountain Laker" and a hitherto unknown and unpublished autograph letter of I. Kant to A.G. Kastner in English translation. In 1917 at Pansy Patch, his estate in Paradise Nova Scotia, Dr. Morse by his own admission had "began a crude golf course." The Mountain Lake community, founded 1915, had by 1916 a course designed by Seth Raynor.

Series of short articles, anecdotes and reflections: concerning architecture, travel in Europe - especially Italy, letter from friend at Mountain lake Club Florida, &c. As well, 41 photographs 2 inches square taken by WIM: skiing in Switzerland and Italian scenes. Excellent condition.
