Gorgeous gilt titles on the spine. This wonderful informative period book, is in excellent condition and as its a used book, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Published in Great Britain by The New Era Publishing Co. Ltd, no publishing date mentioned in the book, I would suggest it was published around the 1950's to 1961, originally first published in 1931 by Sir Isaac Pitman & Sons Ltd, with later editions published in 1950, 1951, 1958 and 1961. 663 pages, all intact, clean and very readable, and nice tight binding. 4to. Please note this is a very heavy item to ship/post, therefore postage/shipping overseas may increase from listed postage/shipping price depending on final destination. An exceptionally, comprehensive book about the wonderful art and craft of hairdressing and other beauty elements, a book to cherish and would look awesome in a stylish library.

A wonderful resource for any aspiring hair stylist. The blue boards have only very superficial marks and the spine and gilt titles are in excellent order. Neat owner's name to front endpaperand unobtrusive crease to bottom corner of a good many pages, but this in no way impinges on the text. The price quoted takes into account postage within the U.K., but I hate to think what overseas delivery might cost.
