Da un paesaggio ammaliato, dal desiderio di fermare l'attimo fuggente, di interpretare il favor optimi temporis, di assecondare uno stato d'animo nel fervore del genio, "ispirato", appunto. E un componimento in versi? Cosa ispira una poesia? Un tramonto, diremmo banalmente. Magari l'esito felice di un "m'ama-non m'ama" con una margherita. Può aiutarci talvolta la forma delle nuvole o l'osservazione di certi fenomeni naturali, quali un arcobaleno o il sole che filtra dall'alto. Ma c'è poi lo spleen, quella condizione irripetibile dello spirito che produce estro e creatività, autentico gorgo di emozioni e malinconie timorate che accompagna fatalmente le giornate di certi artisti. È proprio lo spleen che potrebbe aver orientato Pasquale Nero Galante e Angelo Andriuolo (che muovono - è importante chiarirlo - da linguaggi ed ambiti espressivi diversi, seppur tradizionalmente contigui) verso l'oplà di una produzione - pittorica l'uno e letteraria l'altro - di interessantissima convergenza. Utile si rivelerebbe indagare nei rispettivi vissuti e ricercare i motivi di queste straordinarie affinità, che sembrano indirizzare verso un comune prodigioso sentire. Emerge invece che i due artisti non si erano mai relazionati sui rispettivi intenti produttivi. Non nasce - dunque - la poesia di Andriuolo a commento delle opere di Nero Galante, né i lavori di Nero Galante offrono l'ambientazione ai versi di Andriuolo. Libro.

Full-Leather. Zustand: Good. 1894 leather bound edition in good condition for its age. Decorative cover is somewhat worn as are corners. The spine is present and in good shape. It is only missing about 1/2 inch at the bottom and is a little loose for the bottom 3 inches where it meets the cover. The hinges are loose but attached inside front cover and are good inside the back cover. The FFEP is unbound and the cover page is threatening but still attached. Interior is bound throughout, clean and unmarked. Overall a copy in quite good shape. Proceeds go to our local library.
