E Brock, uncut in original pictorial maroon cloth with gilt and cream design, top edge gilt. CONDITION: A little rubbed and slightly frayed at spine ends. Corners a little rubbed, light fading to the spine with a 1906 school prize label to the front endpaper. A couple of pages with minor corner creases however internally a very good copy. FURTHER COMMENTS: First Edition of the most popular of Nesbit's children's books since its first publication. Subsequent film and and stage versions have only enhanced its popularity with all generations of readers. The current film sequel has done wonders fot the collectability of this book and good copies are now very hard to come by.
