Limp leather heavily rubbed and scuffed to both boards, spine worn, corners bumped; gilt to spine still legible. Paper evenly toned, some staining and foxing. Manuscript number in ink at head of title-page; old label affixed to front pastedown. Interior clean and fully legible; no loose leaves noted. Diocesan proper for Nevers, including the office of St Joan of Arc at 30 May, with the hymn Hostium victrix. She appears here as Beata Joanna ? beatified 1909, canonised 1920 ? placing this office within that narrow window. A witness to the French diocesan liturgies suppressed after the Council.
