Rough cut text block with top edge in gilt. Corners and spine edges are bumped and frayed; underboard exposed in varying degrees. Backstrip is chipped at heel just under "Scribners" stamp. A light dampstain on front board for 1" from gutter. Backstrip is toned, possibly dampstained as well. Zero sign of dampstains or water damage to text block. Interior hinges are cracked or split in what appears to be two or three sections within the text block itself. All pictoral plates are in Very Good+ to Fine Condition. Foxing is limited to paste downs and fep's. NOT an ex-lib.
