Notably, he led the Giants in home run hitting for 18 consecutive seasons (1928 - 1945), which still stands as a record today, and was the third player to join the 500 home run club after Babe Ruth and Jimmie Foxx. Ott was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1951. Bill Terry was a 3x All-Star whose greatest feat was batting .401 in 1930 (to date, he is the last player to hit over .400 in the National League).
