Le 17 décembre 1645 le bureau des pauvres - institution municipale - publia une ordonnance en forme de règlement touchant l'instruction, la nourriture et l'entretien des filles indigentes de sept à dix-sept ans menacées par les périls où les exposait la mendicité de leurs parents.
