Patricia Barham was a columnist with the Los Angeles Herald-Express, from which these ribald, but innocuous poems derive. Educated at the Westlake School for Girls and USC, Barham's clever verse offer clever commentary on the differences between the sexes, informed by her visit to "nearly every" WWII Army and Navy base on the Pacific Coast.
