Presumed first edition w/no additional printings listed, hardcover in green cloth with paper title plate, and inscribed in pencil by Needham on the half title page. The book has a slight skew to the binding, bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, rubbing and possibly repaired tears to the spine plate, and mild foxing starting to the head of the text block. Overall, this is a solid, tight, Very Good copy in a linen slipcase, which appears to be supplied, and has light bumps to the corners, as well as dulling with toning and faint soiling to the panels.
